MicroCure UV72

MicroCure UV72 is a hydrophobic, oleophobic fluoro-acrylate UV-curable oligomer with excellent resistance to solvents, water, water-vapor, oils, stains and abrasion. Substrates for UV72 include PCBs, plastic, metal, glass and ceramic. UV72 can be applied by dip, spray, jet, roll, draw or brushing. When smooth and well-cured, contact angles to mineral oil of greater than 65° and roll-off angles of less than 3° can be achieved.

Application methods: Pad printing, direct or reverse roll, offset gravure, metering rod, slot die, knife over roll, air knife, curtain, immersion, spin, dipping, etc.
Curing: 360-420 nm UV using 350 to 600 watts per square inch [or LED lights (12W/sqcm @ 385/395/405 nm) for 3 seconds with the light source ~4 mm]
Color: Clear
Water contact angle: over 90°
Oil contact angle: over 65°
Solvent resistance: Acetone, ethanol, mineral spirits, etc.
