MicroCure DTO 40 is a hydrophobic and oleophobic coating formulated for stencils and other metal devices. MicroCure has excellent resistance to paste, solvents and abrasion. MicroCure can be applied by simple wipe-on methods. When well-cured, contact angles to water greater than 95° and roll-off angles of less than 5° can be achieved. MicroCure is omniphobic. MicroCure forms a hard shell around devices that prevents water, water-vapor, and pollutant ingress, preventing corrosion. MicroCure DTO 40 is also ice repellent by reducing ice-adhesion strength on stainless steel by over 50%. Microcure is UV-light resistant and lasts 3 to 5 years in extreme sunlight.
Size: 100 grams (125 ml bottle) Application method: Wipe, brush, spray, or dip. To brush-on or wipe-on a thin layer, 10 drops of MicroCure can be applied to the end of a brush and applied onto the substrate in a crosshatch pattern. Each bottle comes with an orifice reducer installed for easy dispensing and application of Microcure to the brush or applicator. If this technique is used, about 100 square feet of surface area can be coated with 125 ml of MicroCure.
