CytoSyl S10 is a perfluoropolyether coating with good durability, lubricity and abrasion resistance. On glass the coating provides good anti-reflective and oleophobic properties. CytoSyl is recommended for glass and other oxide-rich surfaces for fingerprint resistance, stain repellency, and reduced ice adhesion. CytoSyl on mesh and filters forms an excellent anti-fouling agent. CytoSyl at 100% concentration is a good replacement for Fluorolink S10.

Application method: Clean glass, metal, or other substrate till surface is hydrophilic. Oxygen or argon plasma is very effective at making most substrates hydrophilic. Apply CytoSyl immediately after surface preparation. Spritz and spread-on CytoSyl using a rubber squeegee. Allow CytoSyl to dry for 2 hours or more. Using a soft cloth, wipe off any haze or cloudiness. The glass or metal should now repel water, oil, paint, ice and other materials. After the cleaning step, CytoSyl can also be applied by dipping, spraying and vapor deposition.
