FluoroPel PFC602 is low viscosity, low surface energy solution of a coating carried in a hydrofluoroether solvent. This coating is designed for moisture and corrosion protection of printed circuit boards and electronic components. 602 dries to a thin, transparent, permanent film with great hydrophobic and oleophobic properties. This conformal coating is easy to apply, non-flammable, low in toxicity, non-ozone depleting and RoHS compliant. This version of FluoroPel has a UV-tracer for quality control inspection of coated parts. Thin films (100 - 200 nanometers) dry in a few minutes at room temperature to a surface energy of about 10 dynes/cm. This thin film coating will provide a water contact angle over 105° and a mineral oil contact angle over 60°. Application methods for FluoroPel include dipping, brushing, wiping, spraying, etc. Please contact Cytonix for help with custom formulations or with any questions.
