CytoPel 500-BIO is low viscosity, low surface energy solution of a biologics grade coating carried in a non-flammable solvent. This coating is designed for blood, serum, earwax, proteins, and other bio-fluids repellency. CytoPel dries to a thin, transparent, long-lasting film with great hydrophobic and oleophobic properties. This conformal coating is easy to apply, non-flammable, and non-toxic. Thin films dry in a few minutes at room temperature to a surface energy of about 15 dynes/cm. This thin film coating will provide a water contact angle over 105° and a mineral oil contact angle over 60°. Application methods for CytoPel include dipping, brushing, wiping, spraying, etc.
