FluoroPel 800 is a hydrophobic and oleophobic versatile nano coating. It is fluoroacrylic copolymer solution for coating membranes, glass, plastic, and metal surfaces. FluoroPel repels water, oils, solvents, buffers, and biofluids (blood, serum, urine, etc. ).Thin films dry in a few minutes at room temperature and provide a surface with a contact angle to water of >110°. On membranes, mesh and filters, FluoroPel does not occlude pores and helps achieve oleophobicity grades up to 8. Formulations with fluorescent tracers are also available. Application notes: Please make sure the substrate is free of dust and any other loose material. Dip the part in FluoroPel and allow to soak for about 30 seconds. Remove the part from the FluoroPel solution slowly (1 cm/second). The part will be dry in 60 seconds. If possible, bake at 60-100°C for 10 minutes to improve adhesion. FluoroPel can also be applied by spraying, spinning, damming, syringe-dispensing, etc.
