CytoCure D-UV is a conformal coating that protects substrates from UV-light, airborne pollutants, and other chemical exposures. CytoCure also offers excellent resistance to water-vapor, and abrasion. CytoCure can be applied by wiping, dipping, and spraying. CytoCure forms a hard shell around devices that prevents pollutant ingress. CytoCure lasts 3 to 5 years in extreme sunlight.
Sample size: 100 grams (in 125 ml bottle)
Application method: Wipe, spray, or dip. To brush-on or wipe-on a thin layer, 10 drops of CytoCure can be applied to the end of a brush and applied onto the substrate in a crosshatch pattern. Approximately 100 square feet of surface area can be coated with 100 grams of CytoCure. For dipping, immerse in a bath of CytoCure and draw out at a speed of 1 mm per second or less.
Curing: Room temperature 5 hours (or heat for 5 minutes at 60 to 100°C)
Color: Transparent
Water contact angle: ~90°
UV-light resistance: Excellent (no yellowing at solar radiation exposure of 600 megajoules per square meter)
Ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, and acetone resistance: Excellent
NaOH resistant: Yes (25% NaOH for 1 hour)
Use: R&D and industrial use only
Storage and shelf life: 1 year (at 60-80°F in closed bottle)
Packaging options: 100 grams (125 ml bottle); 800 grams (1000 ml bottle); 7 LBS (1 gallon bottle)
